The Outback Carbon Farming Conference was held on Wednesday 17 August 2016.

Facilitated by Professor Lyn Beazley AO FTSE, the conference provided over 100 attendees the opportunity to:
- explore the economic potential of carbon sequestration for WA and its land managers, and hear how other states have benefited from carbon sequestration;
- hear the latest carbon developments in carbon markets, laws and policies at a state, national and international level;
- learn about the potential to integrate carbon into existing rangelands businesses and the practical reality of on-ground management for carbon; and
- be part of developing a plan that addresses the obstacles to carbon sequestration in WA’s rangelands.
